Alyssa Bivins is a PhD Candidate at the George Washington University specializing in Palestinian education history, education development history, and education under settler colonialism. Her research was supported by the Institute for Middle Eastern Studies at GWU, a Fulbright-Hays Fellowship, and a Foreign Language and Area Studies fellowship. Her dissertation writing is funded by the National Academy of Education Spencer Dissertation Fellowship.
